Country notesUnited Arab Emirates
Non-Muslim wills can be registered through dedicated court or free-zone registries; Muslims’ estates follow Sharia shares with limited freedom to bequeath.
Court documents are prepared in Arabic. Each country (and in the UAE, each emirate or free-zone court) has its own forms, deadlines and filing portal; the lawyer adapts the document accordingly.
Documents in other languages may need a certified legal translation before they can be filed. Government, court, translation and notary fees are not included and are paid separately at cost.

FAQs
Can I leave my estate to anyone I choose?+
It depends on your religion and the applicable law. In Sharia-based systems, freedom to bequeath is limited; the lawyer explains your position.
Do I need a separate will for assets abroad?+
Often yes. The lawyer will flag assets that may need a will in another country.
What if I don’t have every document on the list?+
Upload what you have. The lawyer will tell you what is essential and what can be described instead; the delivery time starts once the essentials are received.
Are court or government fees included?+
No. The package covers the lawyer’s work only. Any court, government, translation or notary fees are paid separately at cost.
