Rent increases in Dubai: what tenants should know

In Dubai, a landlord who wants to change the rent or terms at renewal must generally notify the tenant at least 90 days before the contract ends.

The permitted increase is linked to the RERA rental index, which compares your rent to the average for similar properties.
